Glean2 Preview Spoiler
Glean2 is published:
Glean 2 - Kongregate
Currently, Glean2 is almost same as Preview version.
So I don't make new pages for Glean2 non-Preview, for now.
Changes that I noticed(Preview1.07k to v1.15k):
o Planet visit limitation is removed.
o Pearl clams are more often on Aquatic.
o Viscera creatures are more often on Volcanic Terrestrial.
o Capacity of the shuttle storage is reduced to 1000, for each resource.
o Improved minimap (more detailed coloring with high-tier Optics)

Not changed:
o Methane Gas still provides Plasma, not Unstable Isotopes. It conflicts with descriptions. (but it's good. Plasma is more rare than Unstable Isotopes.)
o Ozone Gas isn't detected by top-tier Optics.
This page is based on Glean2 Preview version 1.07k.

In Terrestrial, you can collect coppers around the shuttle.
Iron Ore | Minerals | Terrestrial:50-110 Aerial:80-110 |
Iron is rarer than silver. It's useful for crafting.
Silver Ore | Minerals | Aquatic:0-50 Aerial:50-80 |
In Aquatic, you can collect silvers around the shuttle. Easy.
Gold Ore | Minerals | Aquatic:50-110 Aerial:110-140 |
In Aquatic, it's not hard to get gold ore.
Titanium Ore | Minerals | Terrestrial:110-170 Aerial:140-170 |
Not rare, but hard to find (especially in Glacial). It's small sky-blue colored grains, it looks like just rock patterns.
Platinum Ore | Minerals | Aquatic:110-170 Aerial:170-200 |
Aquatic is good place to get your first platinums. Aerial requires the high level propeller.
Mithril Ore | Minerals | Terrestrial:170-250 Aerial:200-230 |
Can be found at the deepest Terrestrial. Terrestrial-Glacial would be better to dig it. (For less environmental-heats in Glacial, we can go deeper without the best Cooling.)
Orichalcum Ore | Minerals | Aquatic:170-250 Aerial:230-250 |
Aquatic is better to get this earlier(spamming repair). In Aerial, you'll need the finest propeller to get this.
Azurite Crystals | Crystals | Aquatic:0-50 |
Common in Aquatic. Aquatic only.
Amethyst Crystals | Crystals | Aerial:0-50 |
Common in Aerial. Aerial only.
Emerald Crystals | Crystals | Terrestrial:0-50 |
Common in Terrestrial. Terrestrial only.
Ruby Crystals | Crystals | Terrestrial:50-110 Aquatic:50-110 Aerial:50-110 |
Ruby is generated on all map types, depth:50-110. Relatively easy to get.
Topaz Crystals | Crystals | Terrestrial:110-170 Aquatic:110-170 Aerial:110-170 |
Topaz is generated on all map types, depth:110-170.
Coral Shards | Crystals | Aquatic:170-250 |
Dig rocks under corals in deep-water. If you can go deep sea, you'll find many corals.
Amber Droplets | Crystals | Aerial:170-250 |
At the highest Aerial, you'll find Log Wood with yellow drops. That's amber.
Diamond Slivers | Crystals | Terrestrial:170-250 |
Same as mithril, can be found at the deepest Terrestrial. Terrestrial-Glacial would be better. (For less environmental-heats in Glacial, we can go deeper without the best Cooling.)
Fungus Spores | Trophies | Terrestrial:0-250 |
Terrestrial only. Can be obtained from pinky living things.
Cellulose | Trophies | Aerial:0-250 |
Common in Aerial. Dig vines(vine roots).
Viscera | Trophies | Terrestrial:0-250 Aquatic:0-250 |
Can be obtained from turtles. Dig turtles from below. Turtles are almost invincible at Aerial, as you can't dig rocks from below. You can get Viscera from Aerial turtles with Dynamite, but Dynamite requires some rare ingredients... For its high demand and low supply, Viscera tends to run short.
Bacteria | Trophies | Aquatic:110-250 Aerial:0-250 |
Can be obtained from worms. Dig worm from above, or be hit by worm spit. Unlike in-game description, worms are also in shallow Aquatic.
Chitin | Trophies | Terrestrial:0-250 |
Can be obtained from snakes. Make vibrations around snake holes by digging many rocks. The snake will fall with enough vibrations.
Pearl | Trophies | Aquatic:110-250 |
Can be obtained from clams. Touch clams so they attack. After avoiding clam's attack 4 times, clams open up and you can get pearls. Clams are so few. You never have enough pearls.
Aberrant Matter | Trophies | - |
Rarely found in all map-types. Opposite to Strange Gloop, you must making vibrations around this matter. Continuous vibrations are better.
Strange Gloop | Trophies | - |
Rarely found in all map-types. Opposite to Aberrant Matter, vibrations break this gloop. Continuous vibrations are worse. You should approach this gloop with less digging and digging slowly. With drill upgrading, you can get easily.
Vespene Gas | Gasses | Terrestrial:0-50 Aquatic:50-100 Aerial:100-150 |
Shallow Terrestrial is the best place to dig this green gas. If you dig it, sometimes it would explode and deal you massive damage.(and you get some Plasma.)
Amaranthine Gas | Gasses | Terrestrial:100-150 Aquatic:0-50 Aerial:50-100 |
Shallow Aquatic is the best place to collect this. This purple gas has same nature as Vespene. If you dig it, sometimes it would explode and deal you massive damage.(and you get some Plasma.)
Therazene Gas | Gasses | Terrestrial:50-100 Aquatic:100-150 Aerial:0-50 |
Low-height Aerial is the easiest place to get this. This blue gas harms you continuously, but not explodes. To get Plasma, digging Therazene would be the best way.
Plasma | Gasses | - |
When you dig Vespene, Amaranthine, Therazene or Methane rocks, you somethimes get plasma. Therazene is not explosive, so digging Therazene would be the best way to gather Plasma.
Oxygen Gas | Gasses | Aquatic:150-250 |
Can be obtained from bubbles in deep Aquatic. By the way, chests produce bubbles continuously. Staying above the chest and you'll get lots of Oxygens(and Unstable Isotopes).
Methane Gas | Gasses | Terrestrial:150-250 |
Deep Terrestrial only. Other natures are same as Vespene Gas or Amarathine Gas. Sometimes it explodes, then it turns into Plasma.(Unlike in-game descriptions, it can't be Unstable Isotopes.)
Ozone Gas | Gasses | Aerial:150-250 |
Only found in high-height Aerial. There's no way to see ozone, so you must wander about Aerial maps to find ozone. When you're in ozone cloud, your view is yellow tinted. Just as Pure Water, you can get unlimited Ozone by staying in ozone cloud.
Unstable Isotopes | Gasses | - |
When you get Oxygen or Ozone, you sometimes get Unstable Isotopes. Ozone is so hard to find, it's easier to get from Oxygen in deep-water. Note: Unlike in-game descriptions, this can't be obtained from Methane Gas(v1.07k). This material is used to craft Teleporting Pod.
Coal Lumps | Fuels | Terrestrial:0-140 |
Common in Terrestrial. Terrestrial only.
Pure Water | Fuels | Aquatic:0-250 |
Pure Water can be obtained from Aquatic chests easily. You'll get unlimited Pure Water by staying at a chest (in ver 1.07k).
Wood Logs | Fuels | Aerial:0-250 |
In Aerial, you'll find burried woods here and there. Dig it.
Lava Droplets | Fuels | Terrestrial:140-250 |
To get lava, dig lava rocks or touch lava drops from lava rocks. Lava rocks are generated in Terrestrial-Volcanic or Terrestrial-Temperate. To dig lava rocks, digging around the lava rock. Vibrations rip out lava drip from the lava rock. When the lava rock is empty, you can dig it to get Lava and Uranium.
Oil | Fuels | Aquatic:150-250 |
Deep Aquatic only. To get oil, dig oil rocks(they make black bubbles continuously). Unlike gas, Oil doesn't harm you.
Solar Cells | Fuels | Aerial:140-250 |
Can be obtained from Aerial chest in high-height. Just as Pure Water, you can get unlimited Solar Cells by staying at the chest (in ver 1.07k).
Uranium | Fuels | Terrestrial:140-250 |
To get Uranium, dig lava rocks. Lava rocks are generated in Terrestrial-Volcanic or Terrestrial-Temperate. To dig lava rocks, digging around the lava rock. Vibrations rip out lava drip from the lava rock. When the lava rock is empty, you can dig it to get Lava and Uranium. |
